@kreyolessence Haitian Castor Oil ($24)
As with many Black-owned products, it’s hard to determine where to purchase, especially when you are in a hurry and know you’re needing a product last minute. I happened to be on the hunt for some castor oil (for its hair growth benefits) and I stumbled across Kreyól Essence. When I tell you, this stuff is the truth, I mean it.
This castor oil leaves my hair feeling soft, moisturized, and is the perfect addition to my leave-in conditioner when I do my wash & go. My curls are defined as ever, and I can feel a difference in the texture/thickness of my hair.
If you’ve been searching for a castor oil, and want to switch to Black owned, I highly recommend purchasing Kreyol Essence at your local Ulta store. There’s so many scents, too! I chose the Rosemary Mint, and I swear you can feel it working!
