Well, what is “Fair Trade” you ask?
Simply put, (and according to Webster dictionary), it’s a “movement whose goal is to help producers in developing countries to get a fair price for their products so as to reduce poverty, provide for the ethical treatment of workers and farmers, and promote environmentally sustainable practices.”

I’ve been on the hunt for a black-owned lotion that is easily found in stores and I came across Alaffia at @worldmarket.
Excited is an understatement. Not only is it plant-based, but I love the scent and the consistency isn’t thick like many other lotions that are made with Shea butters. It goes on light and is quick absorbing.
Definitely check this brand out! I’m planning to try out the kids line of products as well!
